Terms and conditions Visit Varanger
Visit Varanger AS is responsible for forwarding your booking to the relevant supplier of the activity or accommodation. The supplier is responsible for delivering the product or supplying accommodation in line with your booking. We will ensure you receive information prior to departure, and will contact you in the event of significant changes to your booking.
Terms and conditions
You can book activities up to three hours prior to departure, while most day or morning activities may be booked up to 24 prior to departure. Your booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation with a booking reference number. We recommend all our customers to print this confirmation and bring it on the tour. You need to be 18 years old in order to book through Visit Varanger AS.
We are responsible for ensuring that our sub-suppliers receive payment for the product you book via us. Our sub-suppliers are responsible for ensuring that every aspect of their programme, including complete insurance, permits, equipment, staff etc., is in accordance with the current laws and rules that may apply for the supplier.
Payment and security
The payment is processed when your booking is made. Visit Varanger AS is responsible for the actual transaction, and that the correct amount is withdrawn from your account. In the event of a problem with your credit card, we will contact you. If we are unable to get in contact with you, your booking will be cancelled. Only Visit Varanger AS and the supplier of your product will have access to your name and contact information

Our partner Teller is responsible for creditcardnumbers and codes are handled according to the terms and conditions defined in Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Cancellation without cancellation protection
To cancel or change your booking, you need to contact visit Varanger AS. Visit Varanger AS and suppliers will only accept cancellations provided by the guest. Visit Varanger AS is committed to send an cancellation confirmation to you.
Pakage tours (spesial ordered at Visit Varanger AS)
A full refund is provided for cancellations made up to 30 days prior to departure on your tour
No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the departure of your tour.
A full refund is provided for cancellations made up to seven days prior to departure on your tour.
A 60% refund is provided for cancellations made less than seven days but at least 24 hours before departure on your tour.
No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the departure of your tour.
Visit Varanger AS has no control over the currency rate that will be calculated for refunds to credit cards and cannot take responsibility for any loss of funds.
A change from you is regarded as a cancellation. Some suppliers and partners operate with conditions in addition to those mentioned above. This applies particularly to the booking of airline tickets and hire cars. In such cases, the terms and conditions will be displayed at the time of booking.
Changes in booking must be done before 16:00 the day prior to you booking, and only if there is available capacity. A change in you`re booking will result in a fee of NOK 250,- Changes in booking is regarded as a cancellation.
Some of our suppliers might have different terms of conditions. This might apply for hotel, cabins, flights or rental cars. If that occurs in your booking you will receive terms and conitions enclosed in your confirmation.
We recommend all our customers to ensure they have good insurances before commencing their trip in case of illness, lost luggage, accidents and similar incidents.
Upon purchase of cancellation protection by Visit Varanger AS you can cancel within 24 hours before scheduled booking. You will get refunded the whole amount eccept a fee NOK 250.- The refund will be given to the credit card which has been charged.
Cancellations/major changes from our side
Cancellations or major changes may occur if:
- Conditions out of our control and the control of our sub-supplier, e.g. weather, accidents, strikes etc.
- Conditions for the booking are not met, e.g. minimum number of participants etc.
If this type of cancellation/major change occurs, and you do not accept the alternative provided to you, we will provide a 100% refund of the cost for that part of the booking. In order to ensure a good experience for you, we reserve the right to make minor adjustments due to weather, snow conditions etc.
If you encounter errors or discrepancies along the way in relation to the travel documents you have received, and the problem cannot be corrected on the spot, please contact the supplier in writing as soon as possible. It is the supplier’s responsibility to ensure that safety and provision of the product is in line with the description.
The customers must follow directions that apply for the trip, hotel and others activities. The customer is responsible for any damage that may accur while it`s under the costumers stay/use.
If something goes wrong?
Potensial errors and omissions must be rapportet immediately so the supplier can try to fix the problem. If you do not let the supplier know and give him a chance to correct the error, you are no longer entitled to demand compensation. If there is any disagreement between customers and suppliers before, during og after the stay/activities are Visit Varanger AS not be a part in this matter.
